Huia Nursery
(3 months - Walking)
In the Huia Wing, you’ll find a cozy and serene area dedicated to infants, where our youngest learners, aged 3 months and up, are cared for with the utmost attention. Carefully selected resources and toys encourage and support our babies to reach their early milestones. A balanced environment that caters to both the tranquillity of infants and the physical challenges that promote growth and development. Children stay here until they are confident in walking and ready for their move to the ‘big’ nursery.
Moa Toddlers
(2 Years Old – 3.5 Years Old)
As children transition into toddlerhood, they are eager to understand the ‘big’ world. The Moa Toddlers Room offers vibrant and stimulating learning areas dedicated to imaginative play, sensory play, social play, early literacy and numeracy and arts and crafts. Here, toddlers can explore and engage in a variety of learning experiences focused on their communication and social competencies. This area is designed to encourage curiosity and growth.
Moa Nursery
(Walking – 2 years Old)
Moa Nursery caters to children who are confident in walking up until the age of two years old. A physically stimulating environment for older children, with age-appropriate activities and play areas that encourage independence, exploration, social competence, and the development of gross and fine motor skills.
Huia Preschool
(3.5 Years Old to 6 Years Old)
The Huia Preschool Room features two dedicated preschool classrooms that provide an engaging and structured learning environment. These classrooms are equipped with age-appropriate materials and resources to support early literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking. Two rooms ensure that our oldest ones are able to fully concentrate on their ‘School-Readiness Programme’ which runs every day.
Connecting Both Wings
At Kids Connect Early Learning Centre, we believe in fostering a sense of community and connection between the two wings. We always start and end the day together in Moa Wing and siblings are welcome to visit each other throughout the day. Not only that, but children will also have the opportunity to interact during planned activities and special events, promoting socialisation and inclusivity.
Our dedicated staff in both wings work collaboratively to ensure that children receive a seamless transition as they progress from one age group to the next, maintaining a sense of continuity and comfort throughout their early learning journey.
These distinct wings, the Huia Wing and the Moa Wing, are thoughtfully designed to meet the unique developmental needs of children at different stages of early childhood, offering a safe and enriching environment for growth and learning.
