Higher Teacher-to-Child ratios: We provide a better teacher:child ratio than the Ministry of Education requirement. We work in close collaboration with you to make sure we meet your whanau’s aspiration for your child’s growth. Via our App you receive real-time updates on your phone about your child’s day. Regular updates, open communication, and involvement in our programs create a strong partnership between parents and our centre.

Our team consists of carefully selected teachers and support staff who are either fully qualified in ECE/ Primary or are working towards their qualification. Exceeding Minimum Teacher-to-Child Ratio: We believe that your child (and our teachers) deserves a better teacher-to-child ratio than the minimum set out by the Ministry of Education. We endeavour to always meet the following ratio: Under 2’s 1:3 and Over 2’s 1:8.

Daily Online Updates of Your Child: You won’t miss out on your child’s daily routine and achievements as we update you on our Storypark App. You will receive daily updates on your child’s sleeping, toileting and eating patterns and weekly updates on their learning progress via individual learning notes as well as group stories to see what your child has been up to. Kaiako create an ‘Individual Learning Plan’ for each child, outlining the learning outcomes the teachers and whanau aspire them to reach by the end of each term. 

Being Connected the Kids Connect Way: We understand it can get stressful to leave your little one with new people and it may take time for both of you to settle in. Our phone line is tended to from opening to closing and you can also reach out via Storypark Messaging Service.

Get in touch with our administration team to find out more about our fees, which are reasonable and fair. Depending on your circumstances, you may qualify for up to WINZ Childcare Subsidy. We have WINZ Subsidy applications ready and waiting for you.

Flexible Hours:  We provide flexible childcare solutions with options for full-time hours, school hours, and morning or afternoon sessions, ensuring that your child’s unique needs are met.
